We are up and running!
Hello friends!
Well I know I’ve been telling many of you for a while that I was going to put together a website, different from the earlier debacle that only a few of you actually found. Well, here it is. Finally I’ve put something together that is cogent and capable of letting you listen and download my music. I’m also going to use it as a platform to communicate with all of you, so buckle up for who knows what tangent I might get on!
It’s easy to find too… J-Seneca.com. Brilliant!
Now I’ll have to give all the credit to Chef Sarah who actually got this done for me. For those of you who don’t know, Chef Sarah is my youngest, who is of course a chef, but also a cooking instructor in Chicago. Like many in the food industry, her restaurant closed during this crazy pandemic. So she’s been doing (as she would say) “side hustles” to fill her time, and pockets! Shout out to Chef Sarah - Great job! Love ya Da!
Speaking of pandemic - WTF? I could talk about that and how the hell it became a “Fricking Political Pandemic” as opposed to a rallying and coming together of people like other wars, but that is for another time.
And speaking of “War” that leads me into the new project I’m working on, Love, Politics and War (“LP&W”). This is my first go at putting together an LP. I am planning on releasing it sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas so I’ll keep you posted on the progress. It’s looking like it will be about eight or so songs dealing with the title subject matter. I’m trying to convince one of my past collaborators Wendy D. to include one of her new tunes on it. Wendy is a talented singer songwriter who I met at Berklee and we’ve been collaborating ever since. Her music tends to lean a bit more folksy than my “Dad rock” as coined by my kids because of its 1970 rock influence, but I think it will fit perfectly on the LP.
So lastly, as a bit of an intro to to LP&W, I’m pre-releasing a tune which will be on the album “See Tomorrow.” The song is about our pandemic and also features Chef Sarah (another side hustle) and Wendy D. on vocals. I hope you like it.
Stay safe, live long and listen on!
